The rules

The hidden timer lasts 12–25 seconds. On one shared phone, hand it over gently: whoever is physically holding it at POP loses. No names or player count are needed. With one phone each, tap Pass to transfer the virtual potato. Ownership changes when the server accepts Pass; the named holder when time runs out loses. Connection delays can affect last-second passes. Keep this screen open until POP. Never throw the phone.

What you need and how to start

Choose Hot Potato Bomb and start on one shared phone. You do not need to enter names or a player count. Pass the phone gently while keeping its screen open. You can also create a room for one phone per player.

In a room, choose the game first. Everyone, including the host, taps I’m ready. The host then taps Start to begin.

Open the web app in your device’s browser. Playing requires JavaScript. Multiplayer rooms require an internet connection on every device. Use the game’s ? button whenever you want to check the rules.
