The rules
One player privately learns they are the imposter; everyone else sees the same word. Take turns typing one short clue without saying the word. Then everyone votes for a suspect on their own phone. A unique top vote catching the imposter wins for the group; a tie or wrong suspect wins for the imposter. Clues and votes are shown by name. Three or more phones required.
What you need and how to start
This game needs one phone per player. Open Party Arcade, choose Create a room, share the room code or invitation link, then select Imposter. Each friend joins on their own phone. Names are optional.
In a room, choose the game first. Everyone, including the host, taps I’m ready. The host then taps Start to begin.
Open the web app in your device’s browser. Playing requires JavaScript. Multiplayer rooms require an internet connection on every device. Use the game’s ? button whenever you want to check the rules.
